Please inquire for prices for my standard pieces along with dimensions and additional details. Typically I maintain the same price for most North American hardwood species (Cherry, Walnut, Maple, Quartersawn White Oak, etc.), also small variations in dimensions can be accommadated at the same price schedule. A change to exotic woods or variation in dimensions of more than a few inches will require a consultation to discuss your specific needs and pricing, generally I charge less for modifications to my standard portfolio pieces than for custom work.
Custom work requires a collaborative and itterative approach to ensure the final piece meets all of your needs and expectations. Typically this involves an initial discussion followed by a rough price estimate, if you wish to continue with the project I then work out some rough sketches and finally a scaled working diagram and perhaps a scale model depending on the complexity of the piece. Once we have come to an agreement on all the details, cost, time estimate and schedule I then request a down payment, typically 50%, to purchase materials and begin working on your piece. The remaining balance can be paid after your piece is completed, but prior to delivery.
I personally deliver my work at no additional cost within 100 miles of the metro Denver area, outside that radius we have several options: I may elect to deliver for a fee; shipped by commercial, blanket-wrapper, insured, carrier (typically your piece is encased in custom built crate); or you are certainly welcome to visit my shop in Pine, CO.
